Hello, I’m Rachel…
As an illustrator focused on the natural world, I love collaborations that celebrate species and habitats - creating images that spark curiosity and cultivate connection.
Grounded in environmental storytelling, my practice spans site-specific conservation interpretation and children's literature to greeting cards, editorial commissions and book cover design. I regularly work with sustainable brands, environmental organisations, and some of the UK’s leading publishers and voices in nature writing.
With over 12 years of freelance experience, I hold an MA in Illustration (with Distinction) from Falmouth University and a first-class BA in the Anthropology of Art from the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at UEA, Norwich. My creative work is uniquely informed by nine years spent working within The Wildlife Trusts.
I work from my home studio, in an old village stores on the Hampshire Downs.
